Accounts, collaborators and your profile
Switch accounts, understand team roles, invite a collaborator and find your personal profile settings.

Check the account you are working in
The account name in the navigation identifies the team whose content you are managing. Open that account switcher and choose another available account to change context. On a phone, use Open navigation to reach the account navigation.
An account contains its team, content and management settings. Space is its public creator presence. Your personal profile and sign-in details belong to you across accounts. Your role and available actions can change when you switch accounts.
Understand Owner, Creator and Viewer
An Owner manages the account, billing and team access as well as content. A Creator can create, edit and publish account content and manage learners and media, subject to plan permissions. A Viewer can preview content and inspect learners, analytics, media and the sharing overview without changing them.
Team membership is separate from learner access. Someone who joins a course does not become a collaborator, and account members do not need to be added to a course’s Selected People list for authorised account preview.
Invite someone to collaborate
You must be an authorised Owner, and the account needs the Team collaboration entitlement. Use Account in account navigation, not Learners, for team invitations.
An active member appears in the team roster. The Owner can use the role selector to change an eligible Creator or Viewer, or Remove and its confirmation to remove team access. The primary Owner cannot be removed with these controls.
- Open Account and find Team Members.
- Enter the person’s address in Invite someone by email.
- Choose Creator or Viewer in the role selector. Read the permission explanation below the invitation form.
- Select Send Invite. Pending invitations appear under Pending Invites until accepted or revoked.
- Use the available resend or revoke action for a pending invitation if needed. The person follows their invitation link and signs in as the invited email to accept.

Change the right settings
If a control is unavailable, first check the active account and your role. Ask the account Owner about team access or plan changes rather than creating a second learner invitation.
- Use Account for account-level plan, billing, team and data controls available to your role. Creators and Viewers see a read-only plan summary and team roster rather than owner billing actions.
- Open your avatar menu at the top right and choose Profile & Sign-in for your personal name, bio, avatar and sign-in preferences.
- Use Save Changes for personal profile edits. Sign-in settings have their own controls. Read the displayed requirements before changing a password or sign-in preference.
- Use Space for the creator name, logo, banner, website links and default sharing seen by learners.
Find account data and privacy controls
In Account, Data & Privacy links to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Export account data is a separate request for that account’s content and records. Request Export is available to the primary account owner.
Request Export opens the support request. Review the account name and details before sending it. A request is not an immediate download, and another team member’s read-only access does not grant export authority.
Distinguish leaving, closing and deleting
Leaving a team removes your membership. Account Closure permanently closes an owned account and its content. Deleting your personal profile is a separate operation after its remaining account responsibilities have been resolved.
Read the confirmation and its affected data carefully. Closing one account does not mean closing every account attached to your profile. If you only want to stop subscription renewal, use Plan & Billing instead of permanent closure.
Questions & answers
- Why do I see different controls in another account?
- Each account has its own membership, role and plan. The account switcher changes the working context without changing your personal identity.
- Where do I invite someone who should only learn?
- Use the relevant content’s sharing settings and, for Selected People, its recipients or reusable list. Share its published learner link. Team Members is for collaborators with account access.
- Why is Send Invite unavailable?
- Only an authorised Owner with the account’s collaboration entitlement can invite team members. Also check that an email has been entered, no request is already in progress and the team details loaded successfully.
